Short answer: add the Scorper connector URL in Claude, sign in, say “connect my linkedin”, approve in your browser, then describe the post. Claude reads it back and publishes to LinkedIn when you say yes. LinkedIn is one of five platforms on the same connection, with Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and YouTube all set up the same way.

How to connect LinkedIn to Claude

  1. 1

Add the Scorper connector in Claude

The Claude desktop, web and iOS apps cannot run terminal commands, so they connect through Scorper's remote MCP server instead. In Claude, open Settings, Connectors, add a custom connector with the URL below and sign in with your Scorper email when prompted. That is the whole setup. It is a standard OAuth-protected MCP server, so the same URL works in any MCP client that supports OAuth.

  2. 2

    Sign in when Claude asks

Enter your Scorper email, type the code that arrives, done. No account yet? One is created, then you pick a plan and its 7-day free trial starts at checkout.

  3. 3

    Say “connect my linkedin”

Claude gives you the LinkedIn approval link. Log into the right LinkedIn account in your browser, approve, and come back to the chat.

  4. 4

Attach the media and say where it goes

post this to linkedin, more formal than the instagram caption

Attach the photo or video to the chat. Claude proposes a caption, reads the post back and publishes to LinkedIn after you confirm, or schedules it if you give a time.

What you can publish to LinkedIn from Claude

Text posts, image posts, video posts and carousels to a connected LinkedIn profile.

LinkedIn rewards a different voice from Instagram, and that is where posting from an AI pays off: one prompt, two captions. Say "post this to instagram and linkedin, more formal on linkedin" and your AI drafts a version for each, reads both back, and publishes both. Developers and founders often wire this to their release process: when a version ships, a prompt turns the changelog into a LinkedIn post and schedules it for the next working morning.

LinkedIn's own rules, which your AI works within

RuleLinkedIn
Post lengthUp to 3,000 characters. Only the first few lines show before "see more".
ImagesUp to 20 images per post on LinkedIn; JPEG or PNG.
VideoMP4, 3 seconds to 10 minutes, up to 5 GB.
DocumentsLinkedIn renders PDFs as swipeable carousels.
HashtagsNo hard cap; three to five is the usual practice.
ConnectionLinkedIn approvals last 60 days. Your AI tells you when a reconnect is due; it is one browser approval.

Prompts that work in the Claude apps

connect my linkedin
post this to linkedin, more formal than the instagram caption
turn today's release notes into a linkedin post and schedule it for 9am tomorrow
schedule this carousel for 6pm tomorrow on linkedin and x

Scheduling: “schedule this for 9am monday on linkedin”. The calendar: “what's going out this week?”. Moving things: “move friday's post to saturday”. Everything you schedule from Claude also shows in the dashboard calendar.

Something only Claude users should know

The app connector and the terminal install share one account. Schedule something from the Claude iOS app on the train and it appears in the dashboard calendar and in Claude Code at your desk. Media you want to post from the app is attached to the chat rather than referenced by file path.

Your machine holds a scoped key. LinkedIn's own credentials stay on Scorper's side, and Claude never sees a platform token.

Honest limits

  • LinkedIn publishing goes through the official LinkedIn API, so LinkedIn's rules above apply. Scorper does not work around them.
  • The AI-agent connection is on every plan. Pro posts to Instagram only. Max ($25 a month), Studio and Agency post to every social.
  • The Claude app connector needs a Claude plan that supports custom connectors.
  • Some things are easier in the dashboard than in chat: bulk-editing a month of scheduled posts, for example. Both views share one calendar.

Frequently asked questions

Can Claude post to LinkedIn on its own?
Not without a connection. Claude can write a caption but has no permission to publish. Scorper is that permission: one connector URL links the Claude apps to your account, then Claude can publish and schedule to LinkedIn through the official API.
Can the AI post to a LinkedIn company page?
The connection is made to the LinkedIn account you approve in the browser. If you need company-page publishing, check the connected-accounts list after approval (say "what's connected?") before relying on it.
Will the LinkedIn caption be the same as the Instagram one?
Only if you want it to be. Ask for a different tone per platform and your AI writes a separate caption for LinkedIn. Both are read back before anything posts.
Does this work in the Claude iPhone app?
Yes. Add the connector once in Claude (it syncs across your Claude devices), then post from the iOS app by attaching the photo or video to the chat and saying where it should go.
Will it post without asking me?
No. Claude reads the exact post back (platform, media, caption) and publishes only after you confirm. Scheduled posts are shown before they are queued.
What does posting to LinkedIn from Claude cost?
The AI-agent connection is included in Scorper Max ($25 a month, one brand, all five platforms) and Studio ($55 a month, three brands). Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, card needed to start.
