Post to TikTok from Claude

Short answer: add the Scorper connector URL in Claude, sign in, say “connect my tiktok”, approve in your browser, then describe the post. Claude reads it back and publishes to TikTok when you say yes. TikTok is one of five platforms on the same connection, with Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and YouTube all set up the same way.

How to connect TikTok to Claude

  1. 1

Add the Scorper connector in Claude

The Claude desktop, web and iOS apps cannot run terminal commands, so they connect through Scorper's remote MCP server instead. In Claude, open Settings, Connectors, add a custom connector with the URL below and sign in with your Scorper email when prompted. That is the whole setup. It is a standard OAuth-protected MCP server, so the same URL works in any MCP client that supports OAuth.

    https://dashboard.scorper.ai/api/mcp
  2. 2

    Sign in when Claude asks

Enter your Scorper email, type the code that arrives, done. No account yet? One is created, then you pick a plan and its 7-day free trial starts at checkout.

  3. 3

    Say “connect my tiktok”

Claude gives you the TikTok approval link. Log into the right TikTok account in your browser, approve, and come back to the chat.

  4. 4

Attach the media and say where it goes

post the video on my desktop called diethacks.mp4 to instagram and tiktok

Attach the photo or video to the chat. Claude proposes a caption, reads the post back and publishes to TikTok after you confirm, or schedules it if you give a time.

What you can publish to TikTok from Claude

Video posts and photo carousels to a connected TikTok account.

TikTok requires the person posting to choose a privacy level, whether comments, Duet and Stitch are allowed, and to confirm TikTok's consent text for every post, so your AI asks you those questions before it publishes; it cannot fill them in for you. Most people connect TikTok alongside Instagram and post the same vertical video to both in one prompt. Say "post diethacks.mp4 to instagram and tiktok" and your AI uploads the file once, writes a caption for each (TikTok captions can be much longer and hashtags matter more there), reads both back and publishes. Scheduling works the same way as any other platform.

TikTok's own rules, which your AI works within

RuleTikTok
VideoMP4 or MOV, vertical 9:16 works best, up to 10 minutes from most accounts.
CaptionUp to 4,000 characters including hashtags.
Photo postsUp to 35 images per photo carousel.
VisibilityThe post's privacy level is set at publish time (public, friends, private).

Prompts that work in the Claude apps

connect my tiktok
post the video on my desktop called diethacks.mp4 to instagram and tiktok
schedule the clip in ./clips/day3.mp4 for 6pm on tiktok with three hashtags

Scheduling: “schedule this for 9am monday on tiktok”. The calendar: “what's going out this week?”. Moving things: “move friday's post to saturday”. Everything you schedule from Claude also shows in the dashboard calendar.

Something only Claude users should know

The app connector and the terminal install share one account. Schedule something from the Claude iOS app on the train and it appears in the dashboard calendar and in Claude Code at your desk. Media you want to post from the app is attached to the chat rather than referenced by file path.

Honest limits

  • TikTok publishing goes through the official TikTok API, so TikTok's rules above apply. Scorper does not work around them.
  • The AI-agent connection is on every plan. Pro posts to Instagram only. Max ($25 a month), Studio and Agency post to every social.
  • The Claude app connector needs a Claude plan that supports custom connectors.
  • Some things are easier in the dashboard than in chat: bulk-editing a month of scheduled posts, for example. Both views share one calendar.

Frequently asked questions

Can Claude post to TikTok on its own?
Not without a connection. Claude can write a caption but has no permission to publish. Scorper is that permission: one connector URL links the Claude apps to your account, then Claude can publish and schedule to TikTok through the official API.
Does TikTok posting need a business account?
No. TikTok's publishing works with personal and business accounts. You approve the connection once in your browser.
Can I post the same video to TikTok and Instagram at once?
Yes. Name both platforms in one prompt. The file uploads once and each platform gets its own caption.
Does this work in the Claude iPhone app?
Yes. Add the connector once in Claude (it syncs across your Claude devices), then post from the iOS app by attaching the photo or video to the chat and saying where it should go.
Will it post without asking me?
No. Claude reads the exact post back (platform, media, caption) and publishes only after you confirm. Scheduled posts are shown before they are queued.
What does posting to TikTok from Claude cost?
The AI-agent connection is included in Scorper Max ($25 a month, one brand, all five platforms) and Studio ($55 a month, three brands). Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial, card needed to start.
